PC Hardware.
Real experience with assembly, diagnosing faults and keeping systems useful.
What this project
is about.
PC building is where my technical work began in 2015. I have hands-on experience selecting components, assembling machines, configuring Windows and investigating performance and stability problems.
Most of this experience comes from independently maintained systems and personal builds. I document it as practical technical work, rather than implying it was a decade of salaried employment.
From idea
to iteration.
A few of the practical concerns behind this project.
Plan the machine
Choose compatible components based on workload, thermals, expansion and price.
Build and configure
Assemble systems, configure operating systems and check drivers, cooling and basic stability.
Troubleshoot methodically
Isolate symptoms, verify assumptions and retest after changes rather than replacing parts at random.
Where it stands.
Ongoing independent experience. Additional documented builds and test results can be published as case notes when source material is available.
